There arose before me; as though having dripped up from some primordial, evil place; A creature so repugnant in form as to not have its curves defined; so radiant with malignant purpose as to not have its intentions dwelt upon.
My mind, unable to come to terms with what stood before me, fled, to landscapes quaquaversal. My body, now without guide, would not respond, even had I sense to tell it to do so.
As I now was, without reason, sense, or brain; could do naught.
With luck that I can say only is that of the mad; I had a second, more primal mind; that awoke in that moment.
It allowed me to gaze at this Eldritch horror, and to not lose the few shredded tatters of my mind. This stronger mind than my own; this driven, single tracked mind; pulled me from my stun, and spoke to me but one phrase:
“I bet we could...”
