Be concise and forthright with details before paying. Know exactly what it is you want. Provide refs wherever possible

In regards to TF sequences, generally keep it to a maximum of two characters.

While not necessarily opposed to more detailed designs, more simple and streamlined ones are much more welcome and are more preferable for TFs. Keep 'em nice, fun and simple. Not exactly up to drawing a character several times in a row covered in markings or an excess of extremities

Be courteous. No one likes a sourpuss.
