Description:
Levian has a mixed parentage between a western dragon and a Gryphon, sharing traits of them both. His beak is primarily avian except around the edge of his beak, which is jagged like dragon teeth and give him a permanent sinister grin. His ears are of a typical gryphon fashion, long, fluffy, and wide for good hearing. His eyes are kind, betraying the otherwise sinister visage. an almost luminous purple lights his iris and his gaze can be calming.

His upper body is covered in feathers of the deepest purple that shimmer in low light. The feathers travel along his arms as well, giving him feathery sleeves that are quite warm in the winter. His hands are draconic talons, three strong and scaled fingers ending in a short black talon, as well as a digitigrade thumb for grasping objects.

His Wings share traits of both parents. The top of his wings appears avian with the same violet feathers that cover his body, yet the rest are leathery verdant green wings like a common dragon.
His lower half is predominantly draconic. A pair of strong, digitigrade dragon legs with three-toed feet made for running and leaping, a long reptilian tail that ends in a fan of feathers, and plated scales that run along the underside of his tail and up to just under his ribs. His hips begin the scaled portion of his legs and the lower back, just above his tail, is where the feathers give way to scales.

The transition area between scales and feathers is odd, the feathers quickly transitioning to scales. From a distance, it is hard to see the difference between the forest green scales and the deep violet feathers, but up close it is very noticeable. For this reason, Levian tends to walk with a bit of a hunch to hide the transition, though he tends to forget about it around others he is comfortable with.

Levian enjoys travel and adventure, often ending up in many unfortunate situations. But the kind drake is a smooth talker and can normally talk his way out of trouble and his large size and sinister looking beak help. But Levian is actually quite gentle, disliking confrontation and doing what he can to avoid it.

Note: even though he is half dragon, Levian cannot breath fire.
