Yangtze, China, 209 A.D. Three humans were saved from dying with their mother in her womb. Their savior was a white, azure-eyed wolf spirit who transformed them into her likeness so they could survive. When they were nearly adults, they visited a human village and were caught in the middle of a bandit raid. One of the brothers died along with many innocent humans. The two remaining brothers then committed their lives to defending the innocent as they tried to in that raid, one brother stayed in China, while the other headed for the foreign lands to the west.

To this day, we are known as the Langren, the Chinese anthro wolves. I am descended from the one who stayed, he formed a tribe of vigilantes known as Tiantang de Liao Ya, or "Heaven's Fangs" and I am the new chief as of February 5, 2000. I am also the first to discover the side effects of the wolf spirits power, I have the ability to sense another's soul and generate lightning from my own body. I must learn to use these skills on my own before I pass them down to my kind.
