 Species can live up to 235 years. Diet consist of insects, berries, and flower vegetation. Absorb moisture in the air around them when out of water. Very hard for them to leave their body of water they live in when the weather is over 60°F, unless it is overcast. When upon their deathbed they can pass knowledge/memories to another within their species; however both parties must be accepting of the information for it to work.

Loving, susceptible, sympathetic, faithful, instinctive, gentle and caring, she guards the Lake of ____, Shortly after she was born her only guardian, her mother Tinsel, passed away; leaving the lake in Koi's care. No one knows how her mother died as she refuses to talk about it. Despite her young age she known to be very wise, most knowledge from her mother was passed to Koi during Tinsel's passing. It is believed that she may be a descendant of Pontus. Being a water spirit she is able to bend water to her will, one of her famous abilities is "melting" into the water and becoming invisible; though many of her powers are unknown, it is an unspoken knowledge that she is very powerful and wields much strength despite her small frame. Many know to not cross Koi unless they wish to be humiliated by a quick defeat. Not a lot is known about Koi, while she is fairly social she is very much kept to herself about her own life. Every once in a blue moon she will leave her lake to visit Katana or Tora. Koi has an affinity for jellyfish and firefly squid. Her dream is to one day purify all the polluted bodies of water in the land. Koi's diet consist of insects, berries and flower vegetation. Her favorite insects to eat are dragonflies and damselflies!
*Koi's eyes can be Blue, Green or a mix of both.
