'Keep me rather in this cage, and feed me sparingly, if you dare. Anything that brings me closer to illness and the edge of death makes me more fathful. It is only when youmake me suffer that I feel safe and secure. You should neverhad agreed to be a god for meif you were afraid to assume the duties of a god, and we all know that they are not as tender as all that. You have already seen my cry. Now you must learn to relish in my tears'

Le Cordon Bleu! (G)
My hole life is about to change!
On Wednesday I woke up and decided that it’s about time I started looking for a school and so I did and just before I was about to get online to look up schools a commercial came on TV for Western Culinary Institute. So I gave them a call and scheduled a meeting with Sarah the Admissions Rep for 4:00 pm. I was so nervous the hole way over there because I have looked at 2 other school and they where either not what I was looking for or they where not willing to work with me financially. I went and it was every bit worth it.
I got there and Sarah interviewed me and looked over my portfolio. Then she told me the most amazing thing I had heard sense I had gotten there, that Western Culinary Institute is a Le Cordon Bleu Program! My heart almost skipped a beat I was so excited.
Then I took a tore of the school and walking in to the first class room/ Kitchen, I had to hold back tears it was such an amazing place, and a huge beautiful kitchen. And I felt like that was where I belonged. The school is located in ..Down.. ..Town.., ....Portland.... right on 10th ave. I have always wanted to go to school in a big city.
Then we when back to her office and Steve, the Director of Admissions came in and interviewed me, he looked over my portfolio and at the end of it told me that I was one of the most qualified people to apply to the school in the long time and extended an invitation for me to do so. So, I started filling out my application (witch my amazingly wonderful Girl Friend paid for, love you baby). And now they are holding a spot for me!
The program is 15 months long. You reactive you’re Associates in art and a diploma from Le Cordon Bleu. That is so increasable. You can pretty much work and get whatever I want with that. The first twelve months your at the school on campus and the last three you do an externship, witch they will send you any where you want to go for that, so naturally I will go to New York! And instead of making you go off campus to take your Gen. Ed. You take them there and they are taught by the chefs and like for instance taking math you don’t learn algebra you learn conversions of cups into ounces. All of your academics apply to baking! There is a restaurant on the campus that you can work at to get the felling of what it would be like to work in that kind of fast pas invierment.
Also included in your tuition are all your text books, supplies (kit), lab time, your 5 uniforms and all your Gen. Ed classes. And any club you want to join (there is a Desert club that I would love to join and I will if this all works out) School is Mon- Fri 7:00am- Noon, so I can work and go to school. Every Monday is lectures and then Tues- Fri is all hands on in the kitchens. That’s so awesome! I want this so badly!
So now the problem is coming up with the money. Tuition is $37,000 (but, it includes every thing I will need) I have a Financial Aid work shop to go to on Saturday at 1:00pm at the school. My mother and I already filled out the FAFSA. Now I just need to see what I have to do next…
If every thing works out I will start school on April 4th! WISH ME LUCK!!!!
If you guys want to take a virtual tore of the school you can go to https://www.wci.edu/info and use the student Id# 20937915. And there is also a You Tube page witch is https://www.youtube.com/wciunderground. Go check it out and tell me what you guys think!
