Yip! Just a coyote who climbs mountains and such...I'm almost always busy, but pretty friendly and easygoing. Note me if you're ever interested in chatting!

Artist Beware: Jenklin (G)
I don't know how much visibility this will get, but I feel I owe it to the community to make others aware. I attempted to post this to ArtistBeware, but as Jenklin deleted our chat without warning, I did not have any screencaps for proof.
I paid for a "detailed" Black Friday commission from Jenklin, and my experience was a very frustrating and disappointing one.
Initially, the lineart was completed with only a request for a slight adjustment of the lineart to better match my original description. This was done, and I was more than thrilled with the lineart--it had been very nicely done.
Unfortunately, my experience after this was far less pleasant. The next communication I received from him, despite having previously asked to be provided updates as they came, was in the form of a "completed" commission. While the portion of the commission involving my mate was overall satisfactory, my golden retriever character lacked the detail I was expecting in the commission I had paid for, particularly in the naughty bits. I informed the artist I was a bit surprised and displeased with the lack of detail given I had commissioned a "detailed" commission, and also requested that my character's testicles be black and the cum in the picture be made more visible. I was told that further changes would entail an additional charge, and "I'm sorry but this is still the final commission". He did however finally relent to add the detail I had requested...
However, when I received the final commission, I was frustrated to find the changes had been minimal. When I asked him if he could add detail to my character's genitalia, commensurate with his other work, he first claimed it was as detailed as his other work, then waffled and finally said "I'm sorry but I don't draw realistic genitalia anymore" though he refused to further elaborate. He ultimately did a very cursory color gradient on my character's genitalia, and I could tell further conversation would go nowhere. The overall piece was actually overall worse, with flat/less realistic coloring and no significant change in the visibility of the semen. And despite his claim that he "doesn't draw realistic cocks" anymore, he has since posted multiple works that prove otherwise, within days to weeks of our communication.
If an artist decides they want to change their style, or not draw certain things, or not draw things at certain level of detail, that is absolutely their prerogative. However, that is something that should be made clear at the start, not when 90% of the work on an expensive commission has been completed. I commissioned this artist specifically because of his attention to detail, including on the very pieces he used as a reference for his Black Friday sale, and my "finished" commission left a lot to be desired, both in general and for the specific reasons listed above. I felt very misled, and the experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that I don't feel like I can even enjoy, or otherwise want to share the piece. I've commissioned several artists, and never had one fall so short of what was expected, and be so unwilling to fix the issues at hand. I'm honestly torn between posting the commission; on the one hand, I don't want to give him more exposure and publicity, but on the other, seeing how shoddy the commission is might drive home how this artist is best avoided.
In closing, while Jenklin has an amazing amount of artistic talent, my interactions with him proved very frustrating and disappointing. I will not be commissioning him again, and will continue to warn others against doing so.
