after the past six months my father lost his struggle with cancer yesterday. i am sad for his passing, but with my understanding of the universe i feel he is never truly gone. i made peace with him shortly after i lost ryukie. so when the curtain fell i was left with only love and understanding. and the tears that now fall are warm like a summers rain. letting go was as easy as ashes in the wind. there is a sense of freedom, knowing that ties i kept for my father no longer have to be maintained. endings aren't always bad.
