Okay, so I'm not a new me. That would be impossible. But I am a better me. And by better, I mean, healthier and happier. I have recently started on medication for my depression and anxiety and... would you believe it, it works! It's not that I'm happier, but I am far less sad and less anxious. I still get anxious, but I recover quicker and I am more able to use coping mechanisms that would be impossible to me before starting the medication. The side effects were pretty garbage (nausea mostly), but I'm pretty much over them now. I still have the same struggles that I had before, but I am far more able to recognise the good things in my life and enjoy them. My amazing partners, my wonderful friends, my hobbies and my education.

I'll be going back to school at the beginning of autumn and I am bursting with excitement. I am Harry Potter waiting for summer to be over so I can go back to Hogwarts! I've even bought the textbook ahead of time so I can study up!

I've spent quite a lot of effort rebuilding. And now I am seeing a bright future ahead of me.

Apologies to all those that I had made contact with months ago and haven't followed through. Especially cateowl. Hi. I've been terrible at making friends and actually talking to you. I'm still trying to sort out the balance of my life, which means my online/real life balance.

Here's to the future - something I no longer face with dread!
