There was a TF story I once read on FurAffinity that I regretted not faving.
TL;DR It was a (SFW) Sci-fi story about a woman transforming into an Anthro Canine.
To put into more context, the story was about the woman’s father sending her aboard a spaceship filled with Anthro dogs. She must learn their tongue and basically fit in with them. Later she learns that they are returning to their home world, and in order to adapt to the environment, she must become their kind. She has no choice but to agree and takes an injection. Over the course of days she learns their tongue and her transformation is slow. At the end when her transformation was complete she performs chores and daily tasks accepting her new form. There were other humans also aboard that had to go through the same process and some were more happy than others. They land on the home world of the Anthro canines and attempt to live a new life.
