Questions for my watchers! (G)
Hi, folks!
Got some ideas for the future, and want to run them by you to see if I should bother. Make your voices heard, because otherwise this doesn't work. I'll numerate my suggestions/ideas so you can add a "yes" or "no" or whatever your thoughts are on the matter. Here goes! Do you want me to:
1) upload pieces that are works in progress? Something like: "sketch", "line art", "flat colours" and then the finished piece? I'm torn on the matter because I like having a neat, "undiluted" gallery, but it might be nice for my watchers to see what's up. I could also upload sketches of rough ideas I have and then people can have a say about which pieces I'll finish up.
2) livestreaming of me drawing? I'll only do this if people are tripping over themselves to see me work. I know I wouldn't. However, I think it would pressure me into drawing for longer periods of time per session, so that's good.
3) upload short stories with no pictures? As with suggestion 1, people could then have a say about which stories get illustrated, and which part of the story.
4) update my older submissions and make pics and stories available as an e-book? My thinking is that I can do this via for example patreon, at a symbolic price. My skills are improving and my older stuff could use a touch up or full redo at some point in the future. These would be full resolution images (roughly 5k x 5k pixels so you can zoom in on delicious details). I'd make them imbedded in a PDF or something with the text in there as well. I would also make previews available on FA so you see what you're getting. I'm talking about "In Kane's Service". Just that storyline.
Example:
1) Nope
2) No way
3) Like, zomg, yes!
4) Meh
That's it. Be well, everyone.
