To hold your hand....to embrace you....to kiss you....to hold you in my arms....to cry into you when things didn't seem right....to share more of myself with you than I ever have with anyone in my life....to feel like nothing else mattered because I was safe in your arms.....

It was worth it....every moment....every feeling....every embrace....every positive thought....every heartfelt conversation....every joke....every laugh we shared....over things both clever and completely nonsensical....every meal....every "I love you friend"....

I regret none of what we shared...none of what we've done together....none of what we were about....even if you didn't feel the exact same way....even if you had a piece of my heart....because I did what I wanted with you for as long as I could....and you're not gone.....you're still around....you can still laugh with me....still hug me....still hold me when I need to cry....still make me feel stronger than I ever have as a friend....

Just know that letting go? Letting go is always going to be the hardest thing I'll ever have to do....but I'll do it for you...always <3.
