No longer working in retail, new job is a mix of good and bad. My new job is Dock PIC. I deal with fuel tankers and pipelines, as an on-call employee. I don't miss my old job. Special thanks to a friend in the state for getting me the job!

The problem is, the job is wholly unpredictable with wild variations in hours and days worked, entirely at the whim of ships that have cargo. Many of my days involve me anxiously waiting for updates on when my next vessel is supposed to arrive.

I am making enough money to not go broke but I gotta step up my commission game to make some forward progress to compensate for the lack of a consistent, reliable schedule. I no longer get vacation pay and I need to be sparing about time off requests as there aren't many of us.

I am a terrible judge of what I'm even worth these days but I will try to be better at doing commissions as they are more important to me now than they used to be.

Other mild news is that a close friend of mine,  kyroraz, aka Tikke Lightfoot, is trying to step up his own game as a Twitch creator.
