NAME: Kai Gran Lioné

NICKNAME(S): Ember King Kai, Tired King, Mr. Fox, Raitaro (Misnomer)

OCCUPATION: Inari Servant.

AGE: Around 1300 years old.

APPEARED AGE:  Mid 20's

BIRTHDAY: Sometime in the early 700's

ZODIAC: Pisces/Year of the Ox

GENDER: Male

ALIGNMENT: Chaotic Good



SPECIES: Byakko Kitsune

HEIGHT: 6' 4"

WEIGHT: 255 lbs 

BUILD: Athletic

EYES: Candy red with golden specks. Stern looking. Glow when relevant.

FUR: Stark white.

HAIR: 3 foot long white hair with streaks of gold, often in a low ponytail or a simple braid.

TAIL(s): One prehensile 4 and a half foot long tail. Aims to get the rest back.

MARKINGS: Golden ring around his neck, and one around each of his wrists. Also glow when relevant.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES: Scar on the left side of his chin and an X shaped scar between his eyes.



CLOTHING: Prefers light and airy clothing. Loves harem pants and long sleeve shirts rolled up to the elbow. Doesn't believe in shoes. Often keeps some design to represent the 'three jewels' on his clothes. Kitsune mask is char black with an emblazoned golden ringed sun in the center of the forehead. Formed magically out of his flames.



PERSONALITY: Negativistic, critical of self and others, pessimist. Quick-tempered. Though he grew this way with age, it's mostly a front to avoid people getting too connected with him. Genuinely caring, gentle natured, and forgiving. He doesn't mind making a fool of himself for a smile. Definitely prefers close quarters, hand-to-hand combat as that is the least lethal. That being said, Kai fights aggressively and use his legs to crush his opponents guard and will. Loves Capoeira for it's odd fighting style and incorporated dance moves.



LIKES: Home-cooked meals, quiet spaces to sing and meditate in, anime (especially when they have a fire user, gives him ideas), being held, GUNDAMS, gentle sunlight, blacksmithing, martial arts, self-reflection, and goldsmithing.



DISLIKES: 'People', dehydrated potatoes, tv dinners, and things stuck to his paws. There aren't many things that upset him, but if it does, he'll let you know.



WEAPON OF CHOICE: Chakram and Katana.

ABILITIES: (輝き) Kagayaki, Radiance - The longer a fight lasts, the hotter Kai's fire burns. Up to a maximum heat of 4859 degrees within a 10 foot radius around him. 



(金の恵み) Kin no megumi, Golden Grace - Kai's aura and flame are blessed and take on an intense golden hue at their center. A gift from Amaterasu and Homusubi upon originally gaining his ninth tail, this makes him able to damage incorporeal or spiritual enemies with ease.



(狐火) Kitsunebi, Foxfire - Kai, being a kitsune, has the ability to manipulate magical flames in various ways. These can include creating floating balls hanging around him, minor illusions like lanterns in the distance, or even using it as an ignition source for his other abilities. Through Kai's training, this aspect of the kitsune is taken to the extreme, being able to use those flames to enchance his physical strength for martial arts or craft physical objects from it, like his sword and mask.



(仮面) Kamen, Disguise - Kai can don his kitsune's mask and it will magically conceal his identity to anyone looking at or interacting with him. Often takes the form of Buddhist monk. If the mask is damaged, the illusion falters. 



NAMED MOVES: (日輪) Nichirin, Sun Wheel - Kai gets on his hands and lifts his lower body into the air. He rotates his body while covering his feet in flames and kicks the opponent the several times at high speed, similar to a spinning top. Done with enough speed and rotation will cause a column of flame to surround him that can be sent forward.



(朝の空) Ashitanosora, Morning Sky - Kai performs a two-hit combo, kicking his opponent with enough force to send them airborne, then jumps and delivers a horizontal kick to create distance.



(夕陽のしずく) Yūhi no shizuku, Evening Sun Drop - Kai kicks his leg at the opponents neck and hooks his foot to send their head into the floor, usually resulting in a pillar of flame.
