✦ I'm Jessie, but most people just call me Joopi. I work as a freelance character designer in animation for TV and streaming. You'll notice that my drawing style varies widely because I like to practice and make up different styles to workout my skills. As a result, I can replicate almost any style as it is also part of my job to be able to learn and adapt to new show styles. I also get bored working in a single style for a prolonged period of time, so that's another reason why I like switching it up every now and then.
I like a lot of different things! Like my drawing styles, my interests vary widely as well. Recently, I like playing old games from my childhood and have been playing Toontown Rewritten, so it's my current obsession! I also enjoy the old Dreamcast and Gamecube games and recently beat Sonic Adventure 2 and Shenmue again. I also enjoy Japanese fashion and culture! I wear a lot of Jiraikei and Ryosangata style clothes and keep up with the latest fashion trends. I am learning Japanese and am trying to transfer to a school in Japan for 2025, so I hope I get in! I have a 4 year old bunny named Bunch and I love him so much!
