... What to say about it?

Hey people,
I'll just start off to say that, yes... 2016 was probably the worst year in recent memory since the last worldwide economical crash. Why? Well, we all know a bunch of strong, renowned personalities in entertainment and culture died this year, which is a sadness in itself. The year in politics was bad, like... all over, in general. But I don't need to talk much about it here in the journal. We all know where that will go.

For my own part, I would say 2016 have left me tired, plain and simple tired. The last half of the year was has been rather busy in terms of work and travel, so much things happened. Helped by unforeseen losses mentioned above, and other unfortunate events of different sorts, I would say I'm feeling a physical and mental fatigue right now, in the darkest times of winter up here in the snowy and cold north.
And I'm sure you all can feel some of the same things I do from the year that passed... A year that started out reasonably well for me, but turned out to be quite... meh.
I will for sure be thinking back at this year as one of the worst ones, personally.

Anyways! 2017 is starting in roughly an hour for me, and I'm trying to look into the crystal ball to see what this new year will bring me. I have a creeping feeling that 2017 will most likely be a year where things are gonna change for me. I'm crossing my fingers that it would be for something good and exciting for me. It would be a bad sign in itself if 2017 will be another year in the counting without much happening. Let's hope it will turn out great.

Right now, I'm in the middle of a weekend of work, so I have no choice than to rest up and keep myself in place, so it's gonna be a rather boring celebration from my side. But if you guys have the time, I wish everyone an exciting and safe celebration, if you're in the Western hemisphere, that is.
