I have been... quiet... these last few days. My father passed away on Thursday, due to complications from his cancer treatment. He had been undergoing Chemo these last few months to deal with his 3rd bout of lung cancer.

Thursday morning he was complaining about chest pains and my stepmother drove him to the ER. While they were there, he started to cough up blood, then projectile vomit blood repeatedly. What we did not know was... the cancer had invaded the artery close to his heart. Essentially, it was the same as an anyerisum. He was gone the moment blood started leaving his body, and what was witnessed was his body involuntarily reacting.

Im in Altus right now with my two sisters and my stepmother. These last few days have been... hard. Emotions complicated. My father and I did not have an amazing relationship, but things had been getting better between us... and it is weird since we had come down here to see them 2 months ago. I never thought I would lose both my parents before the age of 40. Please forgive me if I am quiet or distant or lack in posts for awhile. I have alot to process.
