who seek to destroy those who can't fight back

do my antlers scare you? are my teeth too sharp? do you see me as the darkness?

or do you see protection in my claws? vengeance in my violence? defense in my ferocity?
then come a little closer, and stand behind me while i avenge you
let me show you the home i made for you, warm and soft and full of light
a den where nothing would dare harm you
they say that nobody who dares walk among my trees will ever be seen again
