Everyone should take some time, like, right now, to say how awesome they are. C'mon, it'll be "fun," like one of those exercises they had you do back in grade-school. I'm always so damned whiny, I figured I'd try the "positive" thing for a sec.

Gravity may not get me down, but I'm just not up to levity.

So, I finally get around to opening my box of stuffs from Maine that I shipped back home, and you know what? The power cord for my scanner isn't with it. It's bordering on ironic that this happens only shortly after I say "Lol don't worry, I'll be more active!"

I'm not upset, mind you. It's one of those things that I've actually grown to expect on an everyday basis, akin to the universe taking a potshot at the average Joes. I'm enjoying it because it validates my world-view. Clearly, my understanding of reality is skewed.

I do, however, dislike the fact that this leads to me needing to dig through my ginormous collection of unsorted junk boxes to find a replacement.

I'll avoid pissing about my jorb, since I complain enough as it is, and I'll just sit back and laugh along with the universe.
