Candlewick Dragons (G)
A while back, I came up with an idea for a species. I've yet to draw it myself, but I figure it's high time I at least DESCRIBE the things.
A Candlewick dragon has two forms: Lit and Unlit. These both are visually distinct and are as follows
The Unlit form is blue(or black if they've not washed off the soot), with greasy, unmanageable hair. Their wings are small, thin bony things which stay folded up and are unusable for flight. The tips of their tail have the same greasy hair as on their head, but they tend to keep it groomed and have a ring at the base. They tend to be calm, deep thinking, but somewhat depressing.
The Lit form is red, glowing from the inside, with flames engulfing their hair, wings, and tail tip. They can fly in this form, and are typically upbeat, passionate beings, though can sometimes be a bit too quick to judgement.
I'll try to get a picture drawn in a few days, but no promises.
