Sketches are rough and usually have colored lines. They have no shading or color in them, and the lines can and do waver.

Lineart is normally black and white, this also has no color or shading, but the lines are as close to perfect as I can make them.

The lines of these are usually a bit cleaner than regular sketches, but are colored,like the lines on the sketches. The coloring is usually lazier than the full, finished colored pieces.
