I'm Toni Q. McAlister; welcome to my page. =^^=

I currently work as a part-time pizza delivery driver and a part-time student at Central Ohio Technical College. I'm studying to become an Engineer with a degree in Architectural Engineering Tech and official certification of CAD designing.

One of my goals outside of my field is to one day publish a book of some kind (right now, I'm thinking about self-publishing an anthology, but I'm not sure how to go about that). I wrote my first manuscript when I was 16 years old (in that awful computer shop class in high school), and that's when I knew that I was going to fall in love with writing, and I haven't really stopped since. A year or so ago, I wrote a short story called "My Voice to Use", which I used as a final paper for an English class. That paper got me a 98 out of 100 and was marked as the best written story in class. That was a major push for me to continue writing, but focus a bit more on short stories or novellas. At least until I can think of an idea to write a full-length book.

Aside from all this, I'm a pretty big nerd in the real world; I play board games, watch a lot of TV, read a lot. I can't help it, I just love to dissect any story and try to find the goodness in anything I read or watch (even if something is really shitty). I just recently moved on my own, so I'm still trying to understand the real world, but I don't plan to give up any passions of mine along the way.
