Basilisks can create the deserts they live in, but the Sonoran desert was here before I arrived. Honest! (I'm in Arizona, if you don't know where the Sonoran desert is.)
Occasionally inspired to write short scenes of characters loosely based on actual events (autobiografictional, to use a word coined by Lynda Barry) and fetish pieces.
Broke out of the shell thinking I was asexual, but then I found out I was super gay when I met

Say hello if you still go to Tapestries or FurryMUCK!
Sometimes found at other sites:

And maybe some other places as well!

April BasilCockWatch Intro (G)
It's good to see that the spirit of satire is alive and well; an April Fool's Day edition of the Ursinus College Grizzly newspaper (called the Goofly) slipped in Roko's Basilisk references with regards to a sale to AI Overlords. The president is "quoted" about the sale:
“I understand, of course, that this decision may be regarded as controversial. Roko students have a long history of standing up for what they believe in. Basilisk has never suggested to me that they want to change that… only that they want to shape what it is that students believe in, so that they may use that power to help the world see how helpful it is to listen to what these LLMs are trying to tell us...Taking LLM orders blindly is, in my mind, an exercise in trust; if we may learn to trust AI, certainly we may learn to trust each other."
A nice little cross-stitching piece from The Stitcher's Garden: a cockatrice in a coop (complete with chicken wire!) in a small tag that could be hung on a wall, or used as a bookmark. Unfortunately they're out of stock as of writing this; it looks like you can order the pattern from Ingleside Imaginarium over on Etsy.
More traditional artwork at RedBubble from Elise Mara that you can get on greeting cards, shirts, coffee mugs, or other accessories. Bonus points for the snake head on the tail! I still regret not sticking with that choice years ago...
This time around, no miniatures came up in the searches; a few more poorly made AI videos popped up, along with a religious one about several verses in Isaiah that I've referred to before. It was painful to watch. Maybe that's a case of me getting a taste of my own medicine, being hurt by things that I see?
