Hello there all though!! <333 How's it going? ^u^

I thought I'd update and tell y'all plans to come find meeeeee

Though not fursuiting I know I'm going to a ren festival coming up in the Austin area (I believe) that I'm going to with a friend of mine. Going to be in steampunk themed stuff (if not that then probably go for a more gypsy/pirate vibe) either way I'll be in costume BUT I don't think I can take my suit, but we'll see!
It starts late october and goes through a bit of november, I don't know yet which weekends exactly we're going to bUT I know for a fact we are going because Audree and I have already began planning the corset's we're going to make for it uwu <33

So for conventions for fursuiting I do still have plans to go to RealmsCon down in Corpus Christi BUT I don't know exactly yet?? I've never gone somewhere and stayed at a hotel for a con and I ain't driving 4+ hours one way for one day of convention and then another 4+ back that night. I don't have a room for it and I would be like hey is there anyone I can room with but I'm kind of a minor and my parent's are weird about the whole everyone on the internet is a pedophile/murderer/trying to kidnap children kinda stuff (What if's, yay!) so because of that I can't just hike it down there by myself and crash with someone sobs
Not to mention I need people to go with and I have no furry friends out here I know in real life as of now, I know I'm going to meet people down there (Coffee and her crew, Enelya too which I'm REALLY excited for, she's a huge sweetheart) so I won't be the only fur but it worries me????
Like it's a genuine fear of mine that people outside of the fandom don't like fursuiters and I don't have thick skin and would probably break down any cry if I got too many glares/weird looks.
Hell in general conventions have been kinda shaky so so experiences for me. My main friend I went with is one of those not scared to talk to anyone run up and ask for pictures and hugs and in general is very out there, while I am shy and kinda wanna stand back, this coupled with wanting to be recognized as a good cosplayer and now fursuiter makes life hard. I know that with the suit head I'll be more likely to get out and perform since people won't see my face but it's still a fear of mine that people will judge me harshly. And again shy. ANYWAYS that leads to conflicts more times then not and the last con I went to there was a huge falling out with said friend and while fine now it kinda soured cons a bit for me (thanks)
does this mean I'm not gonna go? Nope, gonna try my damn near hardest because I won't be jealous of someone whose a little over active getting more attention then me. Selfish sounding I know but HONESTLY... WHAT FUN IS IT TO WALK BEHIND SOMEONE AND HEAR CONSTANTLY WHAT A FABULOUS COSPLAYER/PERFORMER THEY ARE
It's not fun at all and yeah I get a bit jealous easily oops... I usually stay quiet though so shhhhh uwu <3

RAMBLING ASIDE TL;DR
Ren Festival either late October/Early November FOR SURE, and possibly NOT in suit (MY FACE OMG)
And RealmsCon PROBABLY and if so yes in fursuit!!

Suit updates though I got my feet replaced! The original not fitting and god bless  ThatsFurredUp she is an amazing person and made me another pair that fits free of charge (AND SENT ME A COOL PEN WITH THE LOGO WHICH I THINK IS SO HELLA) and they fit perfectly, I love them. I kinda periodically wear them around the house to get used to the feeling of big feet
With the head the fur and stuff pretty much is all done, just needs to be glued on but can't be done until maker heals which I keep stressing but I'll stress again is HELLA IMPORTANT. DO NOT HURT MORE TRYING TO FINISH A SUIT PLS....... Yes, but after that it'll be a quick glue together add the hair shave some more and airbrush and she's done and he'll send that and my tail and extra dark fur so I can make the rest of the suit <3
Likewise I hope to make her into a 3/4ths or full suit with padding and all that, that'll start when I get into a house and not an apartment
I have armsleeves/paws though I'm in the process of replacing the paws and going to add onto the armsleeves so they go higher up on my shoulder and likewise have her markings on them, this way I can wear my usual tee-shirts without worrying if skin shows
