The page for furs willing to give some of their unused CPU time to help scientific research while they browse FA or play their favorites video games.


If you don't know what Grid Computing is : It's basically using lot of regular computers to do the kind of work usually done by a supercomputer.

Because supercomputers are very expensive, some research projects offer to volunteers the possibility to help them with their own personal computers.


By using only unused CPU time of your computer of even smartphone you can help science to make new progress or discoveries.
(doing computations only when the computer is not in use, or when under light load, when plugged to AC and battery is full for smartphones)

(Host several Medical, humanitarian or sustainable development research projects. Like fighting AIDS, Cancer or Ebola, working on new generations of water filters or solar panels, etc ...)

(Project for disease research that simulates protein folding, computational drug design, and other types of molecular dynamics.)

(Research on protein structure prediction, allow applied research on malaria, Alzheimer's disease, and other pathologies)
