TLDR; moving to bluesky


i understand that is just a rant and i have been inactive for the past couple of years so im pretty sure - without any extra self-deprication, just based on logic - that none many people will recall my persona or my art. which is fine.

you know the drill with hardships of artists nowadays - AI, political climate, oversaturation of social media, high competition and constant presence of an unfair algorythm.
it has also been a challenging time for me personally - mental health decline, financial struggles, all of the shitshow that is going on in my country making it hard to not only recieve payment from commissions but just generally accessing most of the social media, including FA.

this account is about to turn 9 years old this year and ive yet to come across any negative interaction whatsoever. the people who interacted with my posts, who commissioned me and who chatted with me privately have all been wonderful. for some time commissions has been my only source of income, and i've considered it a plausible future instead of going to the route of low income customer service job.

to be fair, i have never considered myself a part of furry community, though i only have appreciation and respect for it, i just had interest in drawing anthro characters alongside humanoid. and this initial interest has declined in last few years, leaving me with question whether it is acceptable to be a human-only, OC-based artist on ths platform, because this is what I've mainly has been focusing on. I understand that the rules and users have nothing againtst it, and yet I strongly feel out of place and unfair to those who followed me for other type of content.

im still unsure of what the future of this account will be, if any, but I've decided to at least give a try to bluesky to have my artwork be displayed at least somewhere. I'm not promising to be consistent or even maintaining my presense here, but i will give it a chance that my stuff deserves to be seen.
