I'm a writer, but as of late I've been lazy and haven't written/uploaded anything.

Update on my writing + Short story (G)
Hey all, Ghost here.
Had a bit of a depressive episode as of late, but I'm starting to feel better (I hope.) So, as of yet I haven't written anything new; Still have a ton of un-uploaded stories and stuff, but, nothing has been written within the last month.
Hopefully that will change, I hope to at least have some of my personal novel thingy written over the next few months.
Anyway, onto the story. Forgive any errors in the spelling and grammar, I'm basically self taught. And I'm always learning.
So, yeah. I guess I should warn that it has gore(?) I dunno, not used to sharing stories.
Enjoy
He panted, hearing the growls of the wolf nearby. It was too soon. The wolf was said to only hunt when… he stopped himself, tears forming in his eyes as he realised what this meant. His father was dead. And now the wolf was after him.
He shook his head as tears fell. Part of him tempted to just give in, let the wolf consume him. That thought was quickly removed from his mind as he heard the wolf growl, it’s red eyes inches away from his face, its teeth bared in a snarl.
He gulped, glancing at the doorway. The wolf didn’t move. As if it wanted him to run. Of course it did, it wanted him to run, so it could give chase.
That’s what it always wanted. A thrilling chase. Hunter and prey. He took a hesitant step to the side, and then broke into a run. Sprinting to the door, practically ripping it off its hinges as he opened it and fled into the cold night air. A cold chill ran down his back as he heard the wolf let out a howl, before giving chase. As he ran - cold sweat running down his brow - he prayed to gods who weren’t listening. His whole family was forsaken, and none of the gods cared. It was probably one of them who had cursed them like this in the first place.
He cast a glance behind him, slowing down as he saw the wolf was gone. Was he safe? He looked back around, just in time to see the wolf pounce. He cried out as he was knocked over, the wolf snarling as it tore into his throat. Showing no mercy. Tears rolled down his cheeks, a mixture of pain, and sorrow filling him as the wolf walked away. He knew he didn’t have long. Soon he would be gone, he touched his throat, shaking as he drew his hand back, blood soaking it. He always thought he would escape it… He let out a blood curdling scream as the change began, his bones twisting, and and stretching.
Soon enough, he was gone. And the wolf was all that was left. It let out a blood-curdling howl, and ran towards the town. The night was still young, and there was prey to hunt.
