Hello everyone. I'm sorry for being gone this past few months. I promised at the beginning of the year to work on more commissions at a faster rate and to stream more and I failed. Last year, I had a repeated pattern of burnout and depressive episodes and this year has been no different. I have an incredibly large queue of commissions and the stress of feeling like I was never making progress had a negative impact on my mental health (that and many other complications I'll go into later in this post). The only reason I took on so many commissions is because it was my sole source of income to pay rent and student loan bills. I had also kept prices low for the longest time because I had low self esteem about my art and believed no one would pay that much for my work, causing my queue to balloon.

Unfortunately, the cost of living has gotten higher where I live, causing me to have to seek employment. I spent most of February and March job hunting and going to interviews and I landed a night shift job in late March that has occupied much of my time. I'm usually very tired after work on the weekends, but I've been slowly building energy to draw more and have a backlog of work to post after I get approval from my commissioners (10 finished commissions total). Now that I work and do commissions, I understand if many of you are tired of waiting for your commissions. So, if you desire a refund, I'll give it. For now, I can't pay it back as I'm still paying off the back pay of my student loans and rent debt, so I can pay you back in a few months. But please know, I am still FULLY DEDICATED to completing my commission queue and will continue until the end. I will NEVER rip you guys off. Due to me being employed now, I'll no longer be accepting new commissions.

It saddens me to announce, but I'll have to end the Patreon Character Poll Illustrations. They were fun while it lasted, but they have taken too much time away from commissions. I still owe one more illustration (The Crash Bandicoot/Crunch Bandicoot/Tiny Tiger spitroast pic) that I'll finish. I'll also do some of the runner ups to make up for not doing polls the past few months (Like the Quitela/Beerus/Champa one and the Stitch one). I may also reach into the back catalog of the polls for more drawing ideas in the future, so if you're ideas never won, I may still draw your suggestion. Thank you to everyone who ever supported me on Patreon. You kept me afloat in my darkest times, and I wouldn't be alive if it weren't for you. Sorry if it seems that I haven't sufficiently returned your kindness, but know your support always meant the world to me and helped aid me in supporting my family.

Besides all that, I've had a lot of misfortune in my personal life that contributed to my depression and burnout. My dog suddenly went blind in the beginning of the year, and it was very sad knowing there wasn't anything we could do to help him, especially since he seemed so sad not being able to do the things that brought him joy in the past. My aunt developed cancer. Despite not being close, I had lost my father and another aunt to cancer so it was sad that another family member came down with it. So its been a dark time for my family. While rearranging my room, I accidentally knocked out one of my outlets and blew a fuse in my room. Now, most of the power in my room is gone and somehow it damaged my laptop battery, so I had to keep it plugged in for it to run but it would still sporadically turn off on its own, causing me to lose progress in drawings. This also, contributed to my lack of posting, besides the job. Luckily, I bought a new battery and can continue drawing more consistently.

Thank you to everyone who is reading this. It meant the world to me to be a full-time artist. But this world has become a tougher, darker place to live. As stated before, I will finish these commissions and if you need a refund, I can pay in a few months. Patreon polls are over for now, but I'll finish what I owe and a few extra to make it up to my patrons. Sorry for being such a slow, failure of an artist.
