I'm gonna be blunt with you guys,
I don't think I like Kue anymore.

like, I've just been getting this... "stale" feeling for awhile now.
every art piece with him feels the same to me, and I feel not as connected to him as I was before.

Kue feels more like a mascot, a brand instead of a representation of me like he was supposed to be.
I made his "current" design almost 4 years ago when I was 17 and actually created him a year before that.
I think I'm outgrowing him? or maybe I just desperately need something new?

as well as that, lately I've been feeling really pigeonholed by his design, especially with his gasmask,
which I think is too much of an important piece of his character to change.
I wanna draw expressions again! since most of my characters don't have conventional faces...

but what's kept me back is feeling like I'll be forgotten if I stopped using him, or that everyone
will ignore everything I make and just say "we want Kue back!" & "we miss Kue!"
as you may remember I tried changing Kue's species and left a lot of people disappointed, wanting the old version again

I changed him back almost immediately, but I think since then I really started feeling like I
just couldn't do anything different with Kue but also couldn't do anything without him

currently at the moment I am making a new sona, one that better fits me and gives me more freedom as an artist...
I may go through with this new sona, I may not. I'm still figuring stuff out and sorting out my insanity of thoughts.

but I do want to be upfront and open about it instead of keeping it in my head. just please, be chill and supportive about it
