Scanner Suggestions (G)

If any of you out there are traditional artists who scan their stuff in, do you recommend a particular scanner? I'm looking for something that's not insanely expensive but will get the job done properly. I got spoiled in art school by their awesome large-format scanners. I went online to check them out thinking "oh, I can buy one!" but NOPE. Aint nobody in my house got money for that.
