Things I've learned OCT (G)
Just a little run down of things I've learned to make future pieces better!
Things I've learned:
-Detail should be either in the light or the shadow not both- clearly define your light and shadow before hand so you like the results better.
-Don't merge layers/delete layers late at night before bed.. It isnt worth the risk of the mess up and losing a layer separation.. seriously it sucks don't do it.
-Look down on a furry face shape isn't the most pleasing angle (or I'm doing it poorly!)
-Highly saturated backgrounds great to look at with only certain shades. Its better off to go a little more desaturated so anyone's character can look at its best.
Things I want to improve on:
-I want to feel more confident in defining a fur pattern on things
-More confidence overall to use hard brushes- these soft brushes are my crutch and they aren't making things truly better.
