bad memes aside this is just an introductory entry as I am just joining the site. So hello!

I go by Kon. I'm ftm, 25 years old and disabled. I'm very new to the anthro/furry community so I'm out of my depth and really have no idea what I'm doing right now. I hope you'll be patient with me while i figure things out.

The impression I've gotten from friends is that this community is fairly chill so that's why I'm here. I need a laid back place to make new pals right now, away from the extremely charged and hyperaggressive community that tumblr has become. It's still a good place, in some ways, but it's been nothing short of harmful and stressful for me of late so i'm looking for alternatives.

I spend a lot of time on both my art and personal twitters as well, and I have discord for personal communication but i only give it out to friends/mutuals etc.

My big things are art and writing, but when it comes to anthro I'll probably mostly just draw. I don't tend to lean towards nsfw in this category so I probably wont' post or consume any of that type of stuff, and fetish art isn't my thing on a general level so I'll probably avoid that. I might eventually open a few commission slots on occasion when family budget is tight, but not until I'm more settled into a work style with this type of art. I haven't drawn a lot of anthro art since I was reading Redwall books as a little kid, haha!

that aside, I'm definitely big into games and anime and the like. Xenoblade, Pokemon, Zelda and Mario are some of my big vidya fandoms but there are others too like Overwatch. I grew up mostly on Nintendo but I've started to get into PS stuff as well now that I'm older and have easier access to it.

I have schizoaffective disorder, social anxiety disorder, and a chronic gastrointestinal illness so my health is really not very good. I've just recently taken up boxing in hopes to improve it a bit but I've come down with a sinus infection so I'm having to take a break while I recover from the worst of it. But I"m doing my best regardless, though I'm also struggling against extreme and severe depression levels right now as well.

My current major special interests are Xenoblade Chronicles X, the Pokemon Anime, and the Paper Mario series.
