Hello to everyone here on Fur Affinity!
I'm a starting writer of the site. And when I finally come around to posting up all my writings and so on and so forth, I wish for everyone to be honest with what they say. Give critic-like reviews, do whatever you need to do. I'm open to constructive criticism, but please do so in a polite manner. Anything that is said which is profane, and directed in a way to hurt my personal feelings, I will block, and report for any reason it may be. The main character I'll be using for such is my main, and most-used original character... Exxor Dawnshield. (Changed his last name some time ago.) You'll find who he looks like on deviantART. ^_^ Hope you enjoy my stories as I post them. But as a warning, I'm still in the midst of perfecting yiff, and light porn writings. But they will come and go sparringly.

Upgraded computer! ... Again. lol (G)
Alright, once again I'm uploading a journal post to talk about my computer. Hopefully for the last time for at least 5 years or so. I recently came into a decent bit of money, juuust enough to finally upgrade my graphics card!
Mind you, the GTX 1660 Ti was pretty damn good for what it was worth to me. But with new games on the horizon that this card falls outside of recommended specs, or even just minimum requirements, looking at the Oblivion remaster... Not to mention ray-tracing now becoming a requirement for a majority of games, it was high time I nabbed a better graphics card.
So I did, in the form of an XFX Radeon RX 7800 XT! Much larger, much faster, has 10GB more video memory than the 1660 Ti, and the clocks are just... wow. XD
It also allowed me to once again break away from using an Nvidia graphics card. What with their scummy actions lately, it wasn't in the cards to get a newer version of their cards.
Being as my new graphics card came to me as refurbished, I'm guessing the shipping company weren't that careful with it. The metal part of the PCI-e bracket where it rests upon the motherboard was bent. So I carefully bent that back into place, and it installed just fine.
I had prepared myself, just in case, if the card didn't work, by preemptively downloading the latest graphics drivers from both Nvidia, and AMD. Fortunately, the card works and I rid of the Nvidia graphics drivers.
So, it's installed, and I couldn't be happier. cx So now, here are my final system specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
GPU: AMD XFX Radeon RX 7800 XT
Memory: 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX (4x8GB)
Motherboard: MSi B550-A Pro
Storage: 1TB PNY CS1030 (OS drive), 2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD + 512GB T-Force Vulcan Z (Both storage)
PSU: Cooler Master MWE 650 v2 Full-Modular (Handles the new GPU just fine)
In other news, I had recently upgraded my OS from Windows 10, to Windows 11, given that, at the time of this journal post, Windows 10 loses official support from Microsoft next month on the 14th.
First impressions so far, I love my new graphics card. My old GTX 1660 Ti did the job well, and I'm proud of it. My brother will find a place for it sometime in the near future, its potential won't go to waste, I know that for sure. :)
