Hey everyone. I hope you all had nice holidays and the new year.

Last year was incredibly eventful for me both negative and positive. The main thing, the unfortunate loss of my father back in March. It's been very different and difficult, just below 30 years old and having to deal with important final settlements and expenses of a parent. It's mostly done and taken care of, but I've been essentially depressed for the past nine months.

But onto the positives, 2025 was a giant travel year for me. I went across the country to Pittsburgh and Philadelphia for two conventions, Anthrocon and Furrydelphia respectively. Anthrocon ended up being the largest furry convention both for 2025 and for the con's record (as of that year). I got to meet a lot of friends whom I've only known through the Internet, and also see a few more friends I only see at cons. Furrydelphia was another pleasant experience. I finally got to meet one of my favourite artists and longtime internet pals and led them through their very first convention.

I went to Las Vegas twice. Once during the summer to visit with other friends, one I haven't seen since before covid happened. The second for my sister's wedding, and whom I haven't seen for several years (minus our father's funeral.)

For most of March, April, and May.. basically the spring months, I took several trips to Northern Nevada in search of an apartment. Just a place to get out on my own and actually start my own life. I'm hoping once that happens I can finally rid my depression.

Anyways 2026. Further Confusion is under two weeks away. I'll be attending, will I see anyone else there? I have a giant trip planned just before the summer, and after that I'm going to really focus on moving out of California.
..Did you also know I have a fursuit in the works? After being on a waitlist for over six years, I'm finally going to have a full suit of Professor Everee sometime this year. I hope I'll be able to show them off at BLFC or any other possible conventions!
