I was wondering... I know that one's own personal fursona is often something deeply felt, something important to that one person. Some people are changelings, flitting from one form to another as their moods shift. Others adopt one form, establishing it, embellishing it, making it their own.

I've bounced from one to another over the years, not exactly sure why I've picked them. At times I was a griffin or hawk, at others, a bear or raccoon. Most lately, it's been the cougar that I've most identified with... but I'm not entirely sure of the WHY behind it.

So, if you're comfortable discussing anything... what made you choose YOUR fursona? Was it something you searched for, and finally found? Did you one day suddenly realize you had always known? Was it merely an arbitrary choice? Was your decision made intellectually or emotionally... or spiritually?

I'm just curious what made you decide on whatever you decided on... or if you've even decided. Maybe it'll help me understand my own choice a little...
