Hey all you cool critters, it’s your old pal Duxton here with an update, proving that yes, I am indeed alive! In case you’ve been wondering what I’ve been up to for the last few years, well, that’s a long story, but that’s not important right now. Instead, I’d like to tell you all about what to expect in the future!

Those of you who have followed me for my writing will be pleased to know that there are new stories in the works, and those who follow me for my art will be similarly entertained, because my next projects will not only be written, but drawn as well!

A little less than a year ago, I did something that I swore up and down for years that I would never do - I bought a Wacom tablet and made the switch to digital art. Since then, my skills have grown by leaps and bounds, my love for art has been reignited, and I plan to take full advantage of that fact.

From the time that I entered the fandom, I have always wanted to write and illustrate my own furry webcomic, and I am proud to say that that time has come. I will be debuting a small cast of new characters, two of which (Rory and Courtney) can be seen periodically on my Twitter profile, and am looking forward to exploring their stories and sharing that with all of you!

This project is still very much in its infancy; character lore and designs are still being developed and finalized, but it is taking place at a much faster rate than I could ever have anticipated. I cannot say for sure exactly when the first strips are going to drop, but I am hoping that I will be able to get them out sometime before the end of the year, so stay tuned!

I am most active on Twitter, in spite of all the upheaval that has occurred since Elon Musk’s acquisition of it and the consequent migration to other platforms, so if any of you want to stay posted on the updates, my handle there is duxtondawg.

Thank you all for sticking with me through the years, reading my stories, viewing my art, and just for being part of what makes our fandom so much fun! I’m looking forward to sharing more with you in the near future.
