I'm Tegon! I love reptiles - especially ones of unusual size. My other hobbies include travel, photography, watching movies, American football, trivia, speedrunning GTA games, watch collecting, and building computers. Feel free to shoot me a note if you want to strike up a chat, but I don't RP.

Burke Fursuit Coming (G)
Hey everyone! My Burke fursuit is virtually complete and I expect to have it in hand in the next few weeks. I'm super excited to show him off! That being said, I wanted to do a quick Q&A for what it means for my profile/online/IRL presence, because while most things will stay the same, a few things will change.
Why the new suit?
Tegon is about a decade old now, and with the whirlwind of cons I did in 2025, he's starting to show his age. As a fleece suit his "fur" pills over time, and there's really no way to rectify that. From a distance it looks okay, but in harsh light or up close it tends to look a little ragged, at least in my opinion. Parts also age and wear - for example, one of his hand claws sheared off at ANE, probably due to brittleness with age, his resin jaw has cracked, and a few teeth have also broken. Don't get me wrong, I still get compliments on how well the suit has held up over time, and I owe that in large part both to the quality of Artslave's craftsmanship and my conscientiousness with keeping him clean. But I noticed that I'm starting to get self-conscious about the suit in a way that's holding me back from expressing myself fully, and that's when I knew I needed something new. I also wasn't interested in simply getting a Tegon 2.0. I want to explore the side of "toonier" suits, and fluffier suits. I adore the way Tegon looks, but with a rigid head and feet, he's only so cuddly. Burke will check all those boxes and more. He also retains a lot of what people love about the Tegon suit, like those abs, heh!
Will you identify as Burke online now?
Not really, at least not yet. I'll still keep all my Tegon social media, with Burke simply being one of my fursuits. Back in 2020, I experimented with having a separate social media presence and personality for Burke, and it felt inauthentic and not "right" to me. This could change if I start to identify with Burke more, or if I use him so much people identify me more with him than Tegon.
Will you retire Tegon, either as a character or a fursuit?
No way! Tegon is here to stay, and more or less unchanged. I do have some exciting announcements on the fursuit front, however. I got in touch with Artslave and she is going to be creating an entirely new head for him. It should be ready on or after AC 2026, understanding that she is very busy with other work. I am also in touch about refurbs to the rest of the suit, particularly to the hands and feet. But the head is the most important, as I'm also getting my Tegon petsuit (FedEx has been poopy on getting him to me, but it's coming!) and I can partial with just the head.
That being said it is possible you'll see him less frequently at cons, especially in the near future. Burke will become my "primary" suit that I bring to most cons, and I think I will limit Tegon either to events that are easy to transport multiple suits to (e.g., NYFB, AC, FD, and WPAFW), local events (in the DMV area) or major cons (e.g., MFF). On the other hand I used to do only two cons a year, so it's not much of a difference from what happened before 2025. On my profile page I keep a list of planned cons updated that will also note which suits I'll bring to which cons.
Will your commissions change?
Honestly, yeah. I'm finding way more interest in the IRL part of the fandom - local events, cons, the friends I've made over the years - that commissions as a whole are becoming less of a draw for me. I'll also be buying a house later this year and need all the money I can get. When it comes to subject matter, I feel the nano well is pretty dry, limited mostly at this point by what I feel comfortable depicting and what I feel artists are able to pull off. Many of the friends I've made recently are also not really in that space, so I feel less of a connection/desire to getting that kind of art.
Expect to see more Burke, more clean or at least less overtly naughty art, and with a little bit lower frequency (maybe like 1 commission a month or so). I'll still be happy to cameo in friends' art, though! And I'll still get macro stuff, of course, I'll just be a bit more discerning.
Didn't I see a rather saucy pic of you in Tegon partial on social media recently?
Yeah, so, about that. I also wanted to mention that I am feeling more comfortable with my body, and hence I'm getting racier with my suits IRL. It's possible you will see NSFW IRL images featuring Tegon and Burke. Neither are actual murrsuits, nor do I really want them to be, so I'll either be in partial, or wearing a the head + petsuit. Will I create an OF? Nah, y'all will get it for free! I do it for the love of the game.
Oh, that also reminds me - with a new suit comes a whole new world of macro suit pics! So y'all have that to look forward to.
Where can I see you this year?
I'll be at the following cons for sure:
FWA (Furry Weekend Atlanta in Atlanta, GA) - in Burke and possibly Tegon partial
AC (Anthrocon in Pittsburgh, PA) - in Burke and likely Tegon
WPAFW (Western PA Furry Weekend just outside of Pittsburgh, PA) - in Burke and likely Tegon
I will very likely be at the following cons:
MP (Megaplex in Orlando, FL) - in Burke
MFF (Midwest Furfest in Chicago, IL) - in Burke and possibly Tegon
I will possibly be at the following cons:
FD (Furrydelphia in Philadelphia, PA) - in Burke and likely Tegon
Furpoc (Furpocalypse in Stamford, CT) - in Burke
I doubt I will consider any other con that's not already on the list above. TFF is not doable this year as I'll be out of the country, but I hope to check it out in 2027.
If you are local to the DMV (that's DC/Maryland/Virginia) area, you can also find me frequently at events in the Baltimore/DC area. I'm always happy for an invite to anything in commutable distance from the Maryland area - I love to meet new people and try new things!
You seem hard to get a hold of on Telegram and/or Discord?
I'm not really getting anything out of those platforms anymore. It's nice to say hi to folks, flirt, share art/pics, or do business (commissions etc.) but I vastly prefer talking to people in person. I will be blunt and say, in my opinion, connections with people have a limit when it's purely virtual. I find I connect with people much better face to face. Let's have a drink together at a con instead, I'll buy! Between travel, work, family, and in person furry events, I am extremely busy with very little free time to sustain a conversation for more than a few minutes at a time.
I'm not kidding when I say I drive hundreds of miles a week on average and can probably count on two hands the number of days I spend in my apartment a month. For that reason I ask that you do not take a lack of response personally. What happens is that I try to catch up, get about 30-50 chats with unread messages pile up, then get overwhelmed and just disconnect. I've even let commission updates and event invites go unseen for days because of that. If you're okay with slow responses, great, we'll get along just fine, and I'm totally okay if you're slow in response too. If not, consider saying hi at a con instead!
But I don't like change!
Me neither. But if things never changed, we wouldn't be able to appreciate the past, present, or future!
