Best wishes for 2026 and carving a path (G)
2025 truly was a year of turmoil. From great heights of positive developments to great lows filled with sorrow. It had it all. Beautiful people were lost, terrible people got to do more damage than we probably even give them credit for and loved ones got hurt while others who were hurt managed to survive another year against all odds.
So, I'll be honest, while the season of giving celebrated among friendly faces, I am glad we got a few calm months ahead of us. I already fulfilled my new years resolution for this year by quitting smoking, quitting sweet drinks and exercising. 2026 will see me double down on that with focus on rest and mindfulness. Yes, very cliché, I know, but having taken the first steps in that direction already I can say: if you make sure you cater to your own needs, it truly does work. It's done wonders on the art side of me as well. Both in output, selfreflection and perspective.
I thank you for reading, thank you for being part of my little corner of the internet in 2025 and may 2026 be one full of beautiful things and lifted spirits.
