Remembering an Inspiration (G)

Bit of a vent, but I remember an artist named HeavyHoss was one of the first people I admired coming into the fandom. His stuff was and remains exceptional, and is a big part of what made me start drawing myself. We even talked on occassion, and I think at some point reached a level that could even call him a friend.

I'm sure a lot of us know how hard it can be for someone who seems so impactful in that way to just vanish out of the blue, to look back at old messages and pinpoint the one that makes you think, "wow, this is the last time I'd ever talk to you." To not know where someone is and just hope/pray that they're safe and happy.

So to HeavyHoss, wherever you are, I genuinely wish you the best life has to offer.

And to all my firends who're here- too many to really list really, I just want you to know how near and dear you are to me. Even if we haven't spoken in a while, I'm always thankful to have you there.
