Can we say yay for updates?
Well, i would like to, but i am going to have to hold back on making arts, and the salvage projects I have been on that made the classical art images available for free use...
The problem here is technical, but it can be explained very simply.
Mac is a nazi-motherf***ing-stingy-skanky-hoe of a company that hate people using free software, like GIMP.
I though i have been forcing the beast to limp on so that i could at least be using a program i am familiar with (as i feel it is bar none the best free-mainstream program out for PC) It actually seems to be HARMING my Mac.... slowing it down to piss long after even being shut down. From what i can tell, due to the lack of power PC support, it is not making use of the dual core active memory... and since that is how this machine is designed to run this creates some kind of conflict. Sometimes refusing to save, others times simply corrupting the file beyond recovery. In total, i have lost more that 50 hours of work over the last two months... *dies* .... Halted any larger commissions, and now i am going to have to stop all together for fear of doing some irreparable damage to my computer.
However, it is very likely that by the end of the upcoming work week, i will be the proud owner of a fully licensed version of photoshop!!!! Which is why i have held out and plugged along with GIMP for as long as i did... I knew that it would not be long. And with any luck, this will only be a short delay for my own personal goals.
Which are, with some re-consideration:
To come up with a clearer description of how my adoptables work.
To come up with at least six new pet markings a month, new pets at random.
To complete at least three customs per month, (i have been failing so hard at keeping up with requests, thank you folks across the many sites )
To find three solid groups where my art might fit in and become a contributing member to add to my friends at the Cotton Star.
Complete the recover on the full images from the books i am trying to save and move on to the *oh crap, over a thousand clip art style images if i do them all one at a time.... oh crap.... what have i gotten myself into here?*
Get desk and mouse!
*my furniture literally comprising of a bed, a sofa, and a box hiding under a blanket...XD*
In the mean time, I would really love to get more feed back in my poll! I want to know what folks want from their adoptables!!!!
