...Wow... I'm still stunned, to be honest.

I keep seeing the pic I just finished, and have a hard time believing I did it. (Hint: It's the featured pic atm) What's both worse and better, it's not stopping there. All of a sudden, I'm giving serious thought to projects I'd only tinkered half-heartedly with over the past couple years. And all due to a tutorial I just more or less stumbled over here. So, here I am, 28 hours without sleep, drawing *again,* euphoric despite the blinding caffeine-shock headache, and giving the eye to a couple other flat-colored pics in my gallery, pondering how to give them the 'Make It Awesome Filter' treatment. ...You know, I think it's official.

I'm back.

You have no idea how good it feels. I've spent the last four or so years, lamenting at the slow trickle my creative urge has become, worried to death that I'd've lost the one thing I've cared most about. But as I sit here writing this journal, I'm mentally plotting out a 20-page Heather artbook, pondering how I can get it done and printed in time for FC, I sort of have to admit that I don't think I have to worry anymore.

That's... honestly the most liberating thought I've had in a long, long time.
