Devo is over-emotional and jealous of the bigger men, yet he has real talent that is ignored by the theater manager and the crowd. Devo is self-centered and hedonistic, lazy, incompetent, self-serving, morally unscrupulous, sexual deviant, lacking both morals and ethics. Devo is actually a very kindly and concerned gent. But he prefers to hide it behind a bad temper and an air of weary cynicism times silly, character whose madcap capers were fueled by an unpredictable personality. He tends to be grumpy, and has a foul mouth, but will express an entire range of basic adult emotions while waddling through ridiculous circumstances. His wise-quacks tend to be deadpan observations, or light puns, also shows him as desperately self-glorifying and consumed by jealousy—though also more introspective. Devo has two dominant personality traits are his fiery-temper and his upbeat attitude to life.His rage is a great cause of suffering in his life. On multiple occasions, it has caused him to get in over his head and lose competitions. There are times when he fights to keep his temper in check, and he sometimes succeeds in doing so temporarily, but he always returns to his normal angry self in the end.
