What happened to furries being nice? (G)
Isn't that supposed to be the stereotype? That furries were meant to be the welcoming community? Well, whatever happened to that?
For the second time in a row, I've posted something I was proud on and it immediately got shat on with no other explanation other than "Your art is bad and you should feel bad."
They started out phrasing it in a way that made me not want to be mad, but then they added comments like,
"If someone told you, that you are underpricing yourself, he/she was a liar."
"Are you even really happy with that kind of quality you are giving to your customers?"
"Does it satisfy you to get 1-3$ for something thats not good?"
And the worst part is that they never even gave any criticism (constructive or not!). Someone else gave me some actual advice on the same thread, and the initial person responded with, "Fucking thank you," and hasn't said anything since.
It's one thing to offer constructive criticism when it's appropriate or asked for, but just fucking bashing on someone, telling them that their art isn't worth what they got paid for it is just rude. Like, the commissioner paid for it and was happy with the final product. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Don't tell me that I'm just trying to make a quick buck off art that's "not good."
