I looked at an artist's page, here, and was baffled by the similarities between his new comic character and another one that I was looking for.
I asked (politely, I think), if it was the same, if he could give me a link to find the OC author. Same fur, hair, hair cut, specie, even the dress : definitely a look-alike if not the same.
He answered "no", vehemently. Even saying, strangely, he never put OC (original characters) other than his in his comic, and three words laters he goes saying he does put other OC, from his paltreon system or other stuff like that. I was all "???".
I answered it was ok (don't remember exactly), and put a link for two images of the characters, on another site were I asked, some days before, for her (sadly, nobody know her).
Today, the artist hid my messages (and even his asnwer...).
I don't want to go all suspecting, but... tsk tsk tsk.
