...Was pretty damn awesome. Wish I'd been able to make it Friday (and had a room in the main hotel), but I still had so much fun. Hopefully next year I'll a: be able to come (might be on the west coast or in another country, sooo... we'll see) and b: get over being a shy-ass lurker and actually make some more friends. I really need to get to more of the Connecticut fur meets. Loved hanging out with the few of you who know who I am, though.

And now for the ironic part. I've been calling myself a furry since I was... 14? Total fangirl of several of the attending artists, and I've been mooning over fursuits for years. I dragged along my Lady, who decided she'd humor my strange hobbies for the weekend. Guess who ended up getting made over as a rat, commissioning a badge, winning a giant stuffed tiger at a raffle, and buying a poster of this year's conbook art?

Yup. Not me XD. I think she's officially converted, guys. Also, I make less money at my full-time job than she does working part-time and going to grad school. Ah, life. Concrud isn't fun, though. Hopefully I'll get over it in a couple of days, but uuuugh.
