Don’t worry everyone! This is not a serious surgery. I just wanted to let everyone know that on February 12th, I am going to be having Laser eye Surgery so that I will not have to wear glasses anymore👓 I just wanna inform everyone because there’s a chance I may not be able to be on my computer or my phone much to talk or draw much for a few weeks or a month because it’s important for my eyes not to dry out. Due to the fact that I’m on my computer a lot, my limit may be reduced. Like I can spend half an hour on it, take an hour off, then return for another half an hour, but take a hour off, repeat. So just in case, if anyone tries to contact me, or I haven’t been posting much, it’s mainly because I’m healing from the surgery.🤕

If anyone’s curious, I’m going for a SMILE procedure. Where they will pry my eyes open and put drops in it to num any feelings. According to a few people I know, I will have to focus on colourful lights which would be the lasers doing its job. They will end up making a very small incision on the side of my eye where they will remove the lenticule which would have my vision correct itself.👁️
Thankfully for me, this procedure is able to do both eyes in the span of 10-15 mins each, and it would take just a few days for my eyes to heal. But it’s still strictly important that I follow a set of rules so it doesn’t do some damage. And where I work it’s best i take 2 weeks off so I could heal and avoid any bacteria. Since I’m on my computer all the time, it’s best i reduce my time spend on my computer to avoid dryness for at least 2 weeks, or more. I think one I’m not fond of is I won’t be able to sleep with my fur babies for at least a week. My cat is going to be wailing all hours of the night.😿

So yeah, I am both excited and nervous for this upcoming procedure. Mostly nervous since these are my eyes we’re talking about. Im a bit squeamish and worried that something will go wrong and I may end up going blind if one thing goes wrong😰 But I keep telling myself that there’s nothing to be wrong because I’ve talked to several friends and coworkers who’ve done the procedure and they all receive overwhelming positive outcomes and the joy of not have to wear glasses anymore. So Im looking forward to this surgery😁 But again, I just wanted to let everyone know just in case if anyone’s wondering where I’ve been.
