Hey all. I go by the name Aerocian (Aerci for short) as my primary fursona (anthro gryphon) though I have other characters that I use in personal endeavors. I've loved anthropomorphic animals, fantasy creatures, and animals since I was a kid though it wasn't until graduate school that I discovered a community of like-minded individuals. I developed an interest in gryphons on my own and that is how I found the furry community. For me, connecting with other enthusiasts is difficult and I haven't had the opportunities or the ability to cope with various mental issues (I have autism and deal with a lot of depression and anxiety) to go to any gatherings. I'm not all that comfortable with initiating conversation (I need to have direction when it comes to topics and questions) and don't socialize with that many people currently but I am interested in meeting new people, especially those who share my interests.

Oh, and I have a major obsession with dragons too, though fairly recent :p
