3D Plump Belly Effects in Blender (G)

I have another question... My pig character in Blender.... He has a nice belly, and I want to make it bounce. I have Wiggle Bones for the moobs and the ears... but I tried the soft body trick I saw on youtube but it kinda turned into a spikey ball and gave me a Convex Faces error at the point of binding it to the mesh.
Does anyone have any other ideas outside of doing Blend faces for the whole belly and animating it manually I would rather have an organic look when I have a walk cycle.
