The tiger with a lot of attitude. Well, a decent amount anyway. Hey, and welcome to this little page. I'm just an artist trying to carve out a lil niche to myself. As well as art (Which appears in bursts, with month long gaps in between), stories of various forms also appear form time to time. Apart from that, I chill, relax, and hunt daemons occasionally, as well as hanging out with my School's Out buddies.

Because the page needed one.
Okay, that's not all this journal entry is for.
I'm debating taking down this account, as I honestly don't use it, and it's just another thing cluttering my history. On the other hand, I'm thinking of opening up another one, possibly here, but more than likely on DA for my current project, which is the Yan-Terra setting.
For people who don't know, the Yan-Terra setting is a unified setting, in which all my previous roleplay characters (Well... most of them) exist, mostly between the two core planets of Terra and Yan'Varheim, the prior being a less dark and oppressive, more noble bright take on Shadowrun, a futuristic setting in which several typical fantasy races co-exist, and the later being a slightly less technologically advanced, but more magickally active society composed mostly of daemonborn (A.k.a. Furries). I have a decent amount of history for both worlds, their interactions with each other, wars, politics, differences in ideals from Earth and such. The setting is getting quite fleshed out in some areas, while still lacking on others. Mostly due to my personal interests over-riding other aspects, such as the United Spheres fleet, space exploration and technological advances.
My eventual goal is to run an rpg for some friends in the Terran side of things, and Terra itself I have to say has come along a lot further than Yan has yet. But then again, most of the people I intend to run this game for are from RL, and non of them are furs, so my priorities shifted. That and with a recent change in personal character and reverting to a human once again rather than a high powered alien dude, Terra has more reason to grab my attention.
This... did have a point somewhere. Urm... ah, yes, accounts. This profile will in all fairness probably remain active, but I'll be moving to a new profile to post some of the Terra and Yan documents online, possibly supplemented with maps, diagrams, species lists, and if I ever get around to using it properly, CGI rendered landscapes and city views via the program Terragen.
To be honest, I'm writing this as I lack other things to do, and here's as good a place as any to write random things, as I highly doubt anyone will read them. Going back to Terra now, I suppose the reason that I'm trying to build such a highly detailed setting in many regards is because I like the solidarity it provides. Having a world where your characters originate from, having actual reasons why fantastic things and fantastic creatures exist. Not only do they exist, they operate in a society that was built around them and all other species to work together, or to now, exploring cultural and racial identities, governance and other avenues of interaction. Also, it's bloody convenient, incase any characters get caught up in each other's storylines, that at least they were on the same planet... unless I've moved into the early expansion era (Current end of the time line, with nine colonies on other planets out of system)
Ah, in anycase, I'm rambling, which is nice in its own way, you know? But for now, I'm done
Darius/Benari out.
