HEAR YE, HEAR YE! THE REIGN OF DAFTALCHEMIST HAS ENDED, LONG LIVE RAWNCHYRANCHER

it's official y'all, I've moved to my new place of business as  rawnchyrancher! I've been planning this move for a little over a month now, and the time has finally arrived!

but why the new name?
this isn't something well known about me, but I've been using the screen name "daftalchemist" for 15 years. during that time I was a depressed teenage girl, an emotionally abused young woman, an escaped abuse victim, a lost and scared young man, and finally the person I am today. I've had highs and lows, pleasant memories and traumatic flashbacks, and I'm fucking tired of it all. I'm starting over in all parts of my life, and shedding off this screen name once and for all is the final step

well... how come you didn't move ALL of your art over?
so there's two reasons for that. first, there's some stuff I drew when I was new and too insecure to say no that I would rather not draw anymore, so this is my way of distancing myself from those things so that people don't expect that from me. second, some of that shit just sucked or had weird memories associated with it, so I decided to curate the new gallery so I could look back through my art and not feel gross inside
